In my recent collaboration with Global Exchange, a currency exchange company, I undertook the task of creating 3D forced perspective videos for display at airports worldwide. The primary objective was to attract the attention of airport travelers to Global Exchange stands. They reported that the project has garnered positive feedback, evident in the enthusiastic response of tourists who have encountered these immersive videos.
The assignment entailed the development of four distinct videos tailored for the initial screen located at Madrid - Barajas Airport in Spain. Crucially, the videos had to be prepared in a fully procedural manner, allowing for seamless adaptation to screens of varying formats at airports around the world.
The project was done with Cinema4D in conjunction with the Redshift rendering engine. A central challenge was to maintain a high degree of editability throughout the production process, particularly concerning dynamic elements like water and clouds.
Thanks for watching!
